This month Frank Toyota was presented with a plaque as a thank you for their donation to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation's Lead and Succeed Scholarship. Gretchen Heffler, Development Officer for MCSF, came to Frank Toyota to present Jim Fornaca, President of the Frank Motors Group, with this MCSF Award for their donation and support of this inspiring organization.

MCSF, whose mission is to "Honor Marines by Educating Their Children," is the Nation's oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military families. The Scholarship Foundation provides scholarship support for children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen who demonstrate financial need. Since their start in 1962, they have awarded more than 30,000 scholarships - totaling more than $80,000,000. There are more than 150 students from California receiving scholarships for the upcoming 2014-15 academic year. MCSF is very proud to report that 86% of the scholarship recipients graduate from their chosen degree program, compared to the national rate of 40%.

"We are incredibly proud to support an organization that has given so many children the gift of education. We are very excited to see how this scholarship will propel so many of our Nation's brightest, young students," says Jim Fornaca.

Thank you to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation for the recognition, however, we would like thank our all of our military. This scholarship donation is just one small way we can thank our Marines for everything they have done for our families and for this country.
